And the winner of TWC Idol 2011 is... Izanami!

Congratulations to her, and everyone else who won a prize. Thanks to everyone who sent in an entry and tuned in! We reached 27 online the radio at one point.

Take away a few kinks and it was a perfect night! I look forward to making next year's idol competition even better!

Every person who enters gets 500,000 gold.

Winner - will receive 5m gold and a statue (possibly)
Random entry winner - will be awarded to one random participant (someone who sent in an entry) 5m gold

TWC Idol 2011 will take place the final Friday of this month, April 29th at 8 PM TWC time! (List of other time zones starting time below)

For those unfamiliar to what TWC Idol is, it's a singing contest where TWC users record themselves singing, then send in their clips. We then take all the clips and host a TWC Idol show on the radio, letting everyone hear the submissions, and vote on the winners. By the end of the night somebody will be crowned TWC Idol's 2011 Champion!

At the moment we need ENTRIES! It's up to the awesome players like yourself to make this work. So record a song and send it in!

Contest Rules:

-No videos. Please record yourself in mp3 or wav format.
-Background music is allowed, but please make your voice loud enough so we can hear it.
-No ripping songs! We've had people rip songs off YouTube and send it in before. It really just ruins the point of the event.

The rules are subject to change.

This can be a super awesome time if we get enough entries so please send one in! It doesn't matter if you're amazing or if you're below average, every entry makes the show happen and we appreciate your participation!

Yes. You would not judge your own entry of course. The judges are there to offer their opinions, the voting is up to everyone.
We need all the entries we can get.

Luc, we needs the date for when submissions will be due, and a full list of what will be accepted (monologues, play lines, poems to music, etc.) I've have a few people ask about this. lol Thanks!

They'll be due anytime before 8 PM (TWC Time) April 29th and the songs must be sung. No poems, monologues, etc.

Can't the participants sing on Thursday? That way, the people who can't get on at that time of night can vote on Friday. Then on Friday night, the winner is announced. I like karaoke, so I'd like to vote
