Seasons greetings,

Should you still be in oblivion, the latest instalment of J.K. Rowling's creative writing to be feature filmed is upon us (see here for my trailer post - my apologies, Rotem). As you may gather, this is an exciting time for Harry Potter fans across the world as they have been granted insight to the origins of the famous book "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them". The movie promises to bring new favourite characters and content for us to devour, the first of a new trilogy - yes, two more are to succeed the first!

The Wizard's Chronicles, a game also of Harry Potter origins which has had some exciting evolution in the last 11 years, today faces the wrath of the supergraphic generation which is superior to TWC's visual attributes. The result of this and other small side factors (such as adult life giving you a warm welcome to hell) has had a domino effect which has brought difficulty in maintaining activity and the recruitment of long term new players.

However, the magical world has its ways of rewarding hard work. We have been blessed with a window of opportunity. This is the type of opportunity which could stem a small revival in our activity levels. This is the window where a new era may begin - thanks to the new development in the Harry Potter franchise.

I implore us - you, the TWC community - to come together on this one. Now is the time where we may capture new long-term recruits. Players who will explore and conquer the game. I do not speak in hundreds. We may not make fifty - or even thirty. Though I believe, with a combined last effort, we can recruit a foundation base of players to combine with the current 6 or 7 active players we have to continue the TWC legacy.

To the point
This will require some promotional or marketing method. This does not mean to spam every website we can think of. We need to assemble a team of individuals who are willing to carefully and methodically spread the word of our fantastic game around the web. I will most certainly be involved in this process. Will you?

Please comment with any marketing or promotional ideas you might have, regardless of how small you may deem them to be.
I welcome comments from any player (present or past including staff) asking to get involved with this tremendous effort - simply, you are invited to be involved.

Bump! Yes, this game is pretty neat; it's a shame the player base has dwindled so much.

I guess to start with, people who have other forum or gaming connections can advertise to friends or people of other online communities. I already dropped a line about this game to another forum for a different fanbase. I don't know if it'll help, but I guess it might.

Byond has a forum section. Maybe someone could post an ad on there or something (not sure about their forum rules, though).

I know that Reddit has a Harry Potter section (https://www.reddit.com/r/harrypotter/). Perhaps someone with a Reddit account can start a thread to advertise it.

Also, posting YouTube promos for the game might help. I can see that people here have already planned some relatively new videos, which is great.

We could possibly add this game to some Top Harry Potter RPG lists, since it is technically an RPG, although it's way better than just a mere forum.

I currently have about a minute of edited footage for a new TWC Trailer (and only these 30 seconds are really good, cuz I'm thinking of replacing the other 30 secs if I can get better footage). In order to make a really good trailer I need more people, that's it. I can make a new TWC trailer that looks absolutely f*cking amazing, but I just need more people that will help me. I also begin college again soon near the end of August. So if you're interested in making a kick-ass TWC trailer please contact me ASAP by the methods listed below.

That one gave me chills and it got so many people online when the server came back. It captured the nostalgia of the game as well as exciting the players with the upcoming features all within the short space of the trailer.
