Remove AFK training

Completely ruins the fun out of the game from many different aspects.
1. At night EVERYONE is AFK. Sometimes I'm the only person who isn't out of 15 people.
2. It isn't a challenge to get the top level anymore.
3. It's ruining the economy because people can sit there and AFK train to get chests and eventually items.

Traxicous

Did you take in to consideration that people sleep and have lives.

In the past you had to answer A.F.K check or else you were kicked/banned, that was changed for a reason.

Now we have it where you read really slow if you don't answer and you read a lot faster if you answer. I believe this is much better as not everyone wants to spend all of there time on a game.

Nah I agree. AFK training is a disease in TWC that makes it continue to be what it is, a zombie.

Curing it will lead to two things: 1. players leaving 2. players being more active.

I was never punished for AFK reading. I don't AFK read because it ruins the leveling experience for me.

Rotem

If we score 40-50 players steadily during the no book reading week which is pretty soon then we'll remove books altogether.

Habitual

I'd remove AFK training until then, then remove book reading all together. It's just too easy to get level cap when you can sit there and read books all day all night rinse and repeat.

Trust me; we won't reach 40-50 players; and neither will be removed.

Reading as it is is good. If it's not broken don't fix it.

TWC used to get 50 players in 2012
You need a little bit of insanity to do great things.

People will log in and be like; what why can't I book read? and log out.

They won't try and monster train because they will die.

Unfortuantly he's correct. Once people find out they die so many times, especially during quests, they instantly goto the books until they are stronger to be able to fight. I've seen it constantly where people are like that.

Rotem

Main reason for their deaths is lack of episkey, I switched it with self to human, people will now get episkey on level 15 and get self to human on 50. This should solve that problem.

Rotem

To further treat this problem, I changed how inflamari works, originally it was 0.9 of your level, however if you're below level 200 you will receive a damage buff based on how low your level is, the buff will decrease as you level up (while on the other hand your damage increases due to level ups), it will make inflamari pretty handy when you're fresh new.

I favoured this solution over giving newbies glacius, waddi or tremorio because of the low MP new players have, this combined with Episkey should effectively remove any problems.

How's the no book read thing going on? People likin' it?

Habitual

It's alright. Kinda tough since I have to do one quest to unlock more and it would help to gain a few levels via book reading to complete the quest "Stolen by a Lord". Other than that, great. Although I did see someone log off due to the fact there's no book reading..
