Books - a more creative version of scrolls. More expensive. Can have additional features and different prices according to cover. Would buy books at Blotts:

E.g.

Black Book - 60k
Red Book - 75k
Illustrated Cover - 90k
Luxury Cover - 120k

- When you double-click the book in your inventory, you can decorate a title page.
- Books have pages
- Each page can be "flicked" with a 'Next Page' link option
- Contents feature that allows you to jump to pages

I personally think these would be good and a better option than scrolls. Would allow for things like journals, instructions, information compiling, RP purposes, stories, etc - all for players to buy and sell financially.

I think this sounds like a good idea however how would the illustrative cover work?

I can do all you've just said with a simple scroll, I've offered services for people, they could get those books done with next page and what not.

People still don't do it often. Usually writers just write for Daily Prophet, sometimes someone just makes something creative like MagDeluxe but there was only really one issue... the desire for it is just too low and I think those books won't be used often if at all.

Perhaps it'd be better to change scroll default format and add a book item that simply gathers scrolls together.

So you'd basically get pages/scrolls written then gather them together into 1 book.
But even so, I do not see it being used often as it is right now, perhaps we should develop this further.
