I know this just isn't me. You type out a long message and send it to the desired person, but they end up having their PMs blocked and you lose everything you just typed. This is pain in my ass.
Maybe, once you select the persons name from the list that it will tell you beforehand that they have PMs blocked.
Also would have to consider that one might block the PMs in the midst of the message.

An easy solution would be to make it go to your sent messages, but not send to them so you could just back and copy it.

Agreed. Any solution is fine(other than having to ask the player if their PMs are blocked), as long as we don't keep losing the text we typed out.

Yes, this, please! It happens so much, and i type things that I think of at that moment, and when it sends i never remember everything that I had typed.

Sky, please make sure that all replies to future suggestions contain relevant information (be it criticism, added information to improve the suggestion, etc.). Comments such as "+1" or "I don't see the point to this" don't really help to expand on the suggestion and simply clutter the board. I suggest taking a look at Murra's suggestion board guidelines. They might be helpful.
