It has come to my attention that clans need a bit more flavor. So I've iconned
some new spells. Perhaps like people have suggested countless times, a
few new spells could be added as a perk for clan-members. It could also
motivate people to y'know get involved in clans. My thoughts were that
ONLY the clan leaderwould have the ability to choose who gets it and who
doesn't. I tried to make the spell ideas/effects/icons as accurate as possible
to the books/movies. But anywho, these are my ideas...

For Aurors:
Stupefy!
- A fiery red projectile flame that once hits a target, inflicts a certain amount of damage as well as knocks the target back 2 spaces. (Like Flippendo + 1 space)
MP Usage:500 (High MP to sort of enforce a cooldown via MP so you can't keep shooting this regularly)

Vermillious! - A red flaming projectile that simply does damage like your everyday attacks. For common dueling use
MP Usage:50 (So it can be used regularly but not as much "magical ammo" as Inflamari)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For Death Eaters:
Sectumsempra!
- A fiery green projectile flame that once hits a target, inflicts a certain amount of damage as well as "slashes" them, putting them in a "bleeding" state which causes them to lose HP every now and then until they die. (Like Furnunculous)
MP Usage:700 (High MP to sort of enforce a cooldown via MP so you can't keep shooting this regularly)
Verdimillious! - A green flaming projectile that simply does damage like your everyday attacks. For common dueling use
MP Usage:50 (So it can be used regularly but not as much "magical ammo" as Inflamari)
I love these spells. This would be awesome.
+1!
Great ideas, however, Sectumsempra seems a bit O/P'ed if there is no limit as to how long it would last, or if there is any way to counter it. Maybe it could be healed off with ten episkies? or just after 25 seconds it fades on its own?
If Azkaban was put back in, that would be a good idea, Skystone.
I don't like the idea of Deatheaters or Aurors having special spells, spells are things you learn, with practice and knowledge, they're not "clan privileges".
Considering clans are ran by a leader, let's say someone is disliked by both leaders and can't get to a clan, it happened before, it probably still does, that person who just so happens to not be the clan leader's friend will be stuck unable to get those privileges, in my opinion it's unfair, I don't think clans should get special spells other than "signs" that shout "I'M A DEATHEATER, I'M HERE TO KILL YOU" or "I'M AUROR, I'M HERE TO PROTECT HOGWARTS".
That's why clans get fancy robes or dark mark.
On that note, perhaps Aurors should have a spell to counter the dark mark and both dark mark and the counter spell should get a cooldown to avoid spam.
Vermillious and Verdimillious however, do just that, they're a sign and they don't do anything special, I have never read the books but
The MP usage shouldn't be 50 though, I personally wouldn't use a spell that costs 50 MP, Aqua Eructo uses 25 and it's a pain in the butt, with about 2900 MP at level 500, 50 MP projectile can drain my MP in about half a minute, I do not feel like meditating every half a minute.
Death
With power comes responsibility. Thats why the spells have such high MP usages, so they can't be spammed and used too much.
Clan members would adapt to the tradeoff of MP. =P
Rotem
What great power? They're the same as Glacius and Tremorio, I for one would still use a lower MP projectile just because of the MP.
It's pros vs cons thing.
Pros: A projectile that is commonly used by your clan.
Cons: Uses more MP than other projectiles, Isn't the projectile you're used to (I hate using anything other than Glacius, using other projectiles make me hit myself), Can reveal your clan identity, you have to make a new macro for it.
Those spells can actually reveal your ID if you are a DE and if you can only use them when robed then you need 2 macros just for the attack projectiles you commonly use.
Death
Well obviously it can be made so the spells could ONLY be used while the person has clan robes on.
Vermillious & Verdimillious have the sole purpose of just being clan projectiles that members can
use while fighting each other, nobody's forcing anyone to do anything lol. I didn't think people would
have such negativity on the idea of using a cool new spell.
Rotem
It's not about whether I'm negative or postive, this thread isn't a vote.
It's about developing the idea to the point it's worth being in-game, when I bring up a problem, people need to think of a solution, when all the problems are solved we get a far better idea the one we started of with, if I wanted to just hate on your idea I'd say exactly "This is shit -1 GO AWAY.", but this isn't a vote, I'm not going to do -1 or +1.
If I say the MP is too high, then perhaps modify your post and reduce it because 50 is shit high.
