Let's help new players. Macros.

Hi! I'm suggesting you yo make a pop-up message with instructions how to make macros which appears every 30 minutes. You'll be able to turn it off if you want.
There must be actually the main steps to make a macro. I'm very ashamed when a new player doesn't know how to make and use 2 clicks to do a command...

This message is created to help new players make a macro. Macro is when you can use a button on your keyboard and when you press it, the command you want to use for the button executes. So, macro is created to make players' lifes easier; macro helps to execute a command quicker rather if you'd just chose the command you need in the Commands tab.

(This message appeares every 30 minutes. If you have already learnt how to make a macro and don't need this message anymore, turn it off in "Settings" (it is at the top of the window of the game))

To make a macro you have to:

1. Press "File" (at the top off the window of the game), then press "Options and Messages". Or you can just press F1 to do it.

2. Press "Client". Then "Macros".

3. Now you are in Macros tab. you can watch here all macros that you use.
To make a new macro you have to press "New Macro".

4. There are fields "Key" and "Command". Field "Key" is used to write a button on yourkeyboard which you want to use to execute the command. "Command" field is used to write a command there.

For example, in Harry Potter The Wizards' Chronicles the best way to get experience is to read books. The action to read a book is the command "read book". In the field "Key" write any letter to use it for a command "read book". "Read book" is the whole command, so when there is a command with a space, it is seperated with a hyphen, so in "Command" field you must write not "read book" but "read-book", because "read book" is the whole command.
There can be also macros where there are put several commands. For example to wear Invisbility Cloak, there are 2 commands in the macro: "Wear" and "Invisibility Cloak". There should be no hyphen between the two commands, it must be just a space there. So a macro to wear an invisibility cloak is "Wear Invisibility-Cloak".

I like the idea of a little guide thing popping up when you log in, but not every 30 minutes. I didn't read it all because the font annoyed my eyes, but I got the general idea.

An annoying pop-up every thirty minutes is highly annoying.

However, perhaps there can be a link to the guides section of the forums whenever you login, or something of that sort? It's overall just easier to ask for help, and have someone say "Check the guides section on the forums". If they don't look, it's not our problem.

This is an excellent suggestion.

We don't have to do anything special, just a link to the guide or FAQs every one hour or so and can be turned off once clicked or something.

Basically most new players don't try to read the guides, maybe it repeats a few times they will and once they do, it can be turned off.
