Couple of things:

#1. I don't support this post anymore.

#2. If food items were to be integrated in this game and there was a hunger/thirst level, I think that it should only decrease certain stats until it's at a reasonable level. It sounds fair to me if this happens.

I actually like the idea of the food being used. I think that this ^ is the best solution for it.

which brings up a more important issue: HOW CAN I SURVIVE 8 YEARS OF SCHOOL AND NOT NEED TO EAT A SINGLE THING?!!!

Hunger Meter! Muahaha cuz that would just piss everyone off ^^

Hmm...i know this isn't the perfect solution, but it is a solution. Adding a hunger/thirst bar that has to be refilled every x minutes/hours and each food/drink item fills it up a certain way, requiring people to take a risk at eat food or drink drinks that may contain potions in them, added by some unsavory people. People would only be able to edit potions and food in their own inventory, but there could be a couple of spawns through out TWC, or if you don;t trust those and want to waste the money, a place to buy the food.

I have a few ideas for effects here. First off 2 potion types - drinkable and throw-able, with throw-able potions having an area effect, kind of like smoke pellets. I also believe that instead of having a limit on how many potions you own, we should instead have a limit on how many potions you can ingest. My initial proposal is to have a 5 minute cooldown after drinking a potion before you can drink another.

Beneficial Potions:
1. Damage reduction - used to reduce physical harm done by monsters.
2. Luck potion - A short duration potion that would guarantee you a drop.
3. Resistance potion - Used to reduce some damage from different elements (fire, ice etc.) at the cost of opposing element being more effective against the user
4. HP/MP restoration potions (ofc) - Self-explanatory, could have potions of different degrees of restoration

Harmful Potions:
1. HP/MP poison - self-explanatory, as a throw-able or could be used to poison drinks etc. if possible
2. Resistance potions could be used as a harmful poison if made throw-able to weaken your opponent to your element e.g. fire resistance potion would make you vulnerable to ice.

Why not use smoke pellets as an ingredient to make throwable potions?
I think that would be a simple idea that people would get.
