1. Download Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

2. Install it by clicking next for all the questions in the installer.

3. Audacity should open by default. If not, it is installed in in C:/Program Files (x86)/Audacity by default.

4. If you want to sing to background music: Goto File > Import > Audio then select the music backing MP3 you would like.

5. In the top left, there's a row of 6 large buttons. The last one is circular and red. This is the record button.

6. After recording your audio, you can review it. You can click anywhere in the track waveform, then press space bar to play, and space bar to pause again.

7. If you want to re-record your audio, you can remove your last recording by clicking the X in the top left of your voice track. (The voice track being the waveforms that formed while you were recording.)

8. When you're happy with your work, you're ready to save. Save your project with File > Save Project. (Note, this is NOT what you send Lucifer. This is so that you can edit your work later.)

9. Save as MP3 or OGG by going to File > Export. Make sure you select the type as "MP3 files" or "Ogg Vorbis".

10. Email your resulting file to twcidol2014@hotmail.com - Make sure you include in your email body your key and your player name.

I highly recommend using this guide and perhaps searching on google how to use Audacity to improve your song, there's plenty of tools Audacity offers to improve.

You can for example clean background noises, increase/decrease your voice's volume or that of the background music and other nice tricks that can actually help you create a more professional entry.

I'm sadly not an expert and you'd most likely have to google most of the information, I'm sure however you will find helpful guides out there.

I'm pretty good with Audacity if anyone needs extra help.
