Potion Quests?

A lot of people hate exploring/creating potions and I'm not entirely sure why. Potions to me is definitely one of the greatest features that I love about TWC today. That got me thinking, how can I introduce potions to new players?

As it stands, potions doesn't have any kind of tutorial, but I don't want to give a direct recipe to future potion students. We need them to experiment, and figure out these new combinations by themselves. From this I thought maybe we could have an NPC that gives a mini-quest to find different basic potions (health potion, mana potion, ya know... those simple but useful kinds).

There could be a small reward such as ingredients, money, arts, or maybe even an item that could help with potion making (TWC's in-game excel sheet?), just as long as it encourages new players to go forth and explore combining potions.

This could of course be into a full quest if there was an NPC in the woods that required a healing potion for a friend who bruised his/her knee, idk. I feel you can be very creative in creating new kinds of potion quests, just as long as it incentivizes noobies to make some of the most basic potions.
