Basically the system would work so:
You place the ingredients one by one into the cauldron at specific intervals, like following a recipe. Heat (or let the cauldron cool) and stir (clockwise or counter-clockwise) in between adding the ingredients. After you believe the potion is ready use a specific flask on it to make the potion drinkable or throw-able.

An example of how a potion would be made:

Reminds me extremely like my Rosebud System: http://forum.wizardschronicles.com/index.php?topic=3522.msg15987#msg15987
But yours has some differences (stirring clockwise/counter-clockwise and when to add ingredients).

The interface looks laid out, non-cumbersome, and seems like it would be a good concept to base on.

It's somewhat based on your system. But i found that yours has a flaw that would break the point of having to follow recipes. In your system you could take any number of actions to get to the same place and get the same potion. In this one the end-point isn't as important as the path you take itself. Regardless, Rotem doesn't want to add an interface for brewing and she's also not too fond of the heating/cooling/stirring mechanic.

I just feel like this sort of interface is sort of a kid's mini-game. It separates the wizard from the action involved.

I want the process to be done on the map by actions. I can always improve on it later.

Apeiro

That's fair. A separate interface popping up would remove you from what's happening around somewhat.

Potions is completely done with 7 potions for now, will add more.

I'm waiting a bit before I update in case Justin will be here to look and fix icons.
