The entire thing is made and tested although I'm sure there's still more testing required so I can be fully certain it works. It's a ton more smooth than anyone other than Justin saw, I imagine that if I let the first tester try it, she'd be like WOW THAT'S SO MUCH BETTER.

Anyway, I also added Elo rating now I wonder whether to brackets should be done with x points required for bracket or a % scale.

TWC deals with known quantities, if we have 20 players in ranking it'd be easy peasy to say, you, highest one, you're ranked challenger! You! #20, you're bronze.

If we go the scale route, the system will constantly change according to the entire community, it's a con and a pro. On one hand you'd always get accurate ranked groups on the other at the very start of each season even a noob can be high ranked.

I decided to use both... in a sense.

Below is a list of ranks, most ranks require you to have x amount of skill rating, except Legendary, Legendary requires both x amount of Elo and to be one of the top 3 ranked.

Legendary
Grandmaster
Master
Magus
Adept
Journeyman
Initiate
Apprentice
Novice

EDIT: It's stolen... if someone wants to change it, go ahead.

Yeah that is copied from Wizard 101 lol. Hmmmm. Not going to lie I googled for ideas, but didn't copy a full list from anywhere. Here's my shot at ranks from low to high:

1 - Beginner
2 - Apprentice
3 - Sorcerer
4 - Battlewizard
5 - Archwizard
6 - Master
7 - Grandmaster
8 - Champion
9 - (I was thinking maybe the #1 rank overall could be called "Transcender" or "Overlord" - maybe the #1 rank could even get a certain item that only they get to wield if they're #1 rank. Something non advantageous stats wise but more something visually awesome and still useful. Something to show everyone they are the best)

Wanted to keep it simple, don't want words that are either too big, or that don't really make you think of a power level IMO.

tbh after researching Elo in order to be 1 you actually have to be... lower than beginner level.

Beginner actually gets #4. Bronze Elo range would be 4-5, just a reference for the background numbers.

I merged your rank list with mine, I take all the nice names. Just a side note, anyone hitting grandmaster or champion are a power level rank. Grandmaster would mean you've had a lot of wins and Champion simply means you're in top 3.

EDIT: about your #1 rank idea, while it's possible to give the first person a different rank, I feel that while the season is active I shouldn't reward anyone as it's undecided who the real champion is, it's the idea of challenger tier, they challenge each other trying to be the best there ever was, catchin' all them pokemons.

Decay! In CS GO, if you haven't logged in for over a week, what happens is you go down 1 skill group. I don't know how league handles it but should I add a 'Elo' drop the more inactive you become?

Meh, the real reason CS GO and League has decay is so people will log back in, play games and in turn buy Riot Points or CS GO micro-transactions to buy skins or cases or whatever to make the company more $$$

Considering TWC isn't making profit I don't think it's needed. If the competitive system is fun, people will continue to play it. Shouldn't have to force them.
