Invisiblity Cloak Price

I think invisibility cloaks price should be increased, it's really common despite there was only 1 in the movies.

Divo currently sells two items, 1 for 10mill and the other for 9k, it's quite drastic.

Maybe if Invisibility Cloak was sold for like 1mill, it'd make people want to get gold more, currently a few farm gold for magic eyes, the majority just wants wigs though.

Although, maybe it's better to wait until the endgame content is in and make invisibility cloak some quest item.

Either way, I think it's way too common.

I think that while the price is drastic, and a small price bump might be reasonable, but not anywhere near 1mil. If you look at a lot of new players Invis cloak is one of those cool little things that they can use to have fun and what not and is fairly easy for them to acquire, bumping the price up to even 100k takes away from the new players enjoying the item. Rather I'd like to handle that gap of items some other way such as adding in new items that fill the gap (Such as the extendable ear idea that Skystone had)

There is not only one in the series, there are multiple. But the differences between Harry's and everyone else's is that Harry's doesn't fade. So instead of changing the price, how about making the Invisibility Cloak only good for X uses? Or has a chance of showing the dark shadow to everyone

I personally love this idea, as Nick is right. There was more than one invisibility cloak in the series.The reason Harry's was so special was, as Nick pointed out, unable to fade like normal cloaks do (hence why most believe his cloak is actually the cloak mentioned in the D.Hs Tale).

I think it'd be awesome if invisibility cloaks were made so they could only be used for so long before they fade away. Perhaps there's an X hour time limit on them? Every time you put the cloak on, the timer starts up. When you take it off, it stops. Once your time adds up to the X hour time limit, the cloak fades. Or, we could do as Nick suggested and make them only be able to be used X amount of times.

I also agree with Lin about the price. Bumping it up that drastically is a bit harsh. The cloak is something for new players to find and enjoy. It gives them a taste of what's available in TWC, as they can't exactly just go straight off and buy a wig or something from the start. If we do raise it, I think 10k or 15k would be reasonable, especially if the limited use is implemented.
