I think Rotem has a point. I don't think you need every member in the TWT though. In the books it was the more the whole environment of the championship that made it cool to me. The goblet of fire which sat out in the open for a few days... the ceremony to announce the winners, etc. We even have a goblet of fire coded in the game now which does just that. I do remember one from a few years back. I was in Ravenclaw at the time. Our whole house got together to work together to help the champion. I believe we worked together to solve a riddle on one of the tasks.

The cool part about the TWT to me was how it was just four random champions, anyone's game. It may be a little over powered to let the full house participate in all events for obvious reasons.

I think we just need to involve others more. We will likely do another TWT this summer mixed with the Summer Bash itself. So even if you're not a champion, you'll have a ton of other events and chances to win. I think as long as we make the events involve the other players it will work out. For instance, we want to make sure everyone can watch the tasks from the champion's perspective like how you can watch someone playing Quidditch. We could also have a task that involves the full house's participation directly.

So what about a progressive elimination leading up to the event of the Tri-Wizard tournament. No cap or anything. You host events for 2 weeks leading up to the Tri-Wizard tournament and the 3 or 4 most consistent player in this events (which should be some things similar to the tri-wizard tourney and specified as TwT events) for the weeks leading up get the spots. You could also limit to one per house as well if wanted to be done that way.

This is exactly what I was trying to say. lol

No! I strictly do not want more than 4 players to play! If you do so, it won't be a Tri Wizard Tournament! Four Wizard TOurnament. )))))

But if you allowed four people to play then it wouldn't be a TriWizard Tournament, because Tri is three, not four.

Yes, it was only in the movie that there were 4 players. Because Harry was wanted to be killed by Voldemort.
