The OP post only applies to those who use a mac and don't have a dual boot OS that supports the BYOND installation.

It allows you to boot XP/Vista/7 from a Virtual Machine inside your Mac Computer.

Think of it as an Emulator. It's like a Nintendo DS Emulator that plays ROMs for the NDS on your PC. However in this case it's a windows emulate that plays a specific OS; I.E. Windows ME. *Small Troll Face*
