Why does the wall have a shadow? Thats not how shadows work

Azrael

The Twc bookshelf? Really? It's a terrible icon and maybe worked with the old floors but its simplistic and colorful design doesn't really with the new ones(imo) but I guess that's why its hard to get change, people are to use to the current look. What is so good about the current one, and maybe I can make something a little more at home. The one I made to the far left is the same size as the TWC just with less bright colors and wood looking wood. Yes correct shadows don't work that way, but why is the whole room so bright? Light doesn't work that way. I added shadows to the wall just to make the wall seem like a wall and now a flat tile. The new roof works but I guess it would make more sense to use outside with the whole sun dealio.

Perhaps it's too dark or something? I just makes the library seem gloomy and for a location that's pretty populated in TWC, it needs bright colours to entertain the eyes. I agree that the current one looks like it's made of marble or something but it stands out.

Is there an actual difference on the wall icon?

I made it subtle as the actual mossy icon you can layer over and over to make it a deeper more visible green, I figured it would work best in the dungeons. Heres an edit of what it could look like.

Well it can potentially be littered about. Maybe where there would be a leak in the sealing. Outside walls might have moss or vines sprouting up the side. Certain tiles work better in certain places but its usually pretty universal.
