Disable vault access of inactive players

Recently it came to my attention people are taking advantage of inactive players' vaults, so to kill two birds with one stone, I can just remove access to their vault if they're inactive.

This also answers the problem that people are having with randoms who give them access.

My question is, does this harms anybody?

Ben

I've got access to Tobias' vault and have done for aaaaaageees. I can't remember why he gave me access but I don't need it.

Skystone

I don't see what's wrong with having an inactive player's vault.

Inactive players are defenseless against theft. When they come back after a few months they might find an empty vault.
All you have to do is login once, even via webclient every period of time to prevent people being locked out.

You are busy with school but you still manage to log in within the time period I have planned, imagine someone from your little clan was mad at you or just felt like betraying you and felt like stealing all your shit, now think about what would happen if you were actually away and couldn't do anything and you'd only find out months after when you return.

A ton of people are vulnerable to this, I already know of more than one case where fuckers just think that they can take someone else's entire vault contents. And I repeat, this happened way more than it should've by so many different people.

You may be naive Skystone, you may be loyal but not everyone is and most certainly noone listens to vault master's warnings.

As a side benefit it also fixes people's problem with randoms giving them access to their vault.

Mmm good point. Question though: Say we left beyond the time limit and we came back, would our vault still be available for us? Basically would the vault be disabled for anyone to get in until we got back?

Yes...?

Basically everyone you allowed will still be allowed once you log in. It's just a extra security measure against the "HE'S NEVER COMING BACK, LET'S TAKE HIS EVERYTHING."

From my experience they always come back and they always regret it. In fact, I've yet to see -anyone- who didn't regret granting someone vault access, it's just a disaster and people keep at it so the least I can do is add security measures like this or the claimable doors.

Sadly claimable doors are only available starting from HQ vaults, those are quite expansive.

I think this should be disabled on clan vaults since there are the private rooms no one else can enter anyway

Clan vaults? Last time I knew there weren't clan vaults. It's just a normal vault. The players turn it into a clan vault by their own choice. It's not like an HQ or whatsoever.

if your clan leader is inactive you shouldn't be in their clan anyway.
