i realized today that Stat points are only given through level gain.

i'm not sure if you're already looking into this or if there is a reason that you can not stat train on monsters anymore - IMO being able to train stats by fighting monsters was one of the biggest parts of the game to me, being able to train your stats in a way you like and to develop your character was the coolest aspect of the game.

Bring back the old stat training please!

Opinions welcome :)

Also, just another thing that crossed my mind...

There are several players who are now maxed out and have reached the top level in the game .. whats it been, like 2 weeks? maybe you want a level cap or stat cap for a reason but it should not be this low.

I mentioned a possible rebirth idea.

If not, I personally think it shouldn't be allowed to gain stat points like that again. It makes people too over powered. I mean, there is less balance and stuff between those who whore SP training and those who do not/can't.

If anything, there could be a stat point cap like Joshy stated.

being able to design your character and putting work in to make them the best .. thats so cool!

if you don't want to stat train then thats your problem, don't have stats - you say people can't stat train, why not? everyone can, thats the beauty. it gives people who want to be the best a chance to develop their player and people who don't want to stat train and be combative can read books etc.

its a MASSIVE part of the game for alot of people.

Not capping player progression is a huge cause of our balance problems in the past. If you have a simple time-to-strength progression like we did before cap, the motivation to participate for a new player is close to zero. They have no chance of catching up, and I really don't want to see that happening again.

There will be additional content to participate in after level lap, but these things take time. And naturally we will probably end up doing some sort of big release at specific intervals wherein end-game content is expanded, and the level/stat cap raised.
