We should have the icons set up where your can remove the robes if you want and have different shirts and pants that you can wear under them. I want the option of walking around with no pants on.

That would require me to edit and fix most of the issues with the current base. I'd then have to remove the robes without fucking up the general shape of the body. Then I'd have to add more skin color after removing those. Then I have to make sure the animation actually looks correct after removing them. Then a bunch of other shit that I can't remember at the moment. In all honestly a new base would be less time consuming than editing TWCs current base.

What if we scratch the idea of running around in a birthday suit, and stick to alternate robes? The colored names on players indicate the house so it might be a fun option to let players dress differently. There could be clothing stores or players could design new robes and have their own "store." Maybe some special robes as prizes? I'm sure many players would be willing to contribute icons since enough were capable of making them for last years prom.

This seems like a good idea Jace. While were at it, another idea I was thinking about while reading these is robes that give stat boosts while worn. Like +10 Def, +10 Mag, +10 Exp Gain, etc. Of course these robes would be significantly rare and used as prizes in major events, or super rare monster-dropped items (say, chance of 1/1000 drop?) Let me know what you think of this idea.

A 0.01 drop rate is intense, it could take weeks depending on your luck. Weeks of farming. OR, You could get super lucky and get it within a day. 0.001% to drop is really so rare that you might as well not even put it in.

Alec Kage

Well yes, maybe not such an extreme rarity. But my exaggeration serves to prove a point, you understand don't you?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but my impression was that Justin was referring to the difficulty of changing the base to include different types of clothes or no clothes at all... I'm just talking about a change in robe color really. I don't think that would require much or any alteration to the base.

Also 1/1000 = .1% = .001. Considering the amount of SB farming that goes on I think that might even be too often. Killa and Ian would have 50 by now. I assume there is a reason Murra has never put in monster dropped items but I do think it would be cool, and give players something else to do/hunt for when events or classes are not held.

The base wasn't setup to wear different clothing, and a change of colors is just meh.

I'm not supportive of this unless there was a new base created that was made for wearing different clothes. That would allow much more customization. Hair styles, clothing, skin tones, shoes, accessories, etc.

Drop rate isn't the issue.
