Clan Idea

Okay, if clan wars ever start again I was thinking that perhaps clan earned points could be spent on something (not quite sure what they were used for in the last TWC).

For DE:
-Points spent on one-time use curses: Imperio and Avada.
-Points spent on DE HQ upgrades: Torture room, Hidden room, etc.
-Points spent on dark/neutral items: Horcrux, Polyjuice, etc.


For Aurors:
-Points spent on one-time use Auror spells: Stupefy and Prior Incantato (pretty sure they'd be a lot cheaper in points than the Imperio and Avada).
-Points spent on Auror HQ upgrades: Interrogation Room, Cells, Trap room, etc.
-Points spent on Auror-based/neutral items: Time Turner, Polyjuice, etc.


I was also thinking that perhaps Aurors could possibly jail DE, however once that DE is jailed the game makes a duplicate (or a fake DE under their name) where they still have their level and gold and equipment however they're no longer a DE until they rescue themselves from the jail (that of course is considered if Aurors upgrade their HQ to have cells).

So anyways tell me what you guys like and don't like. I'll probably try to get it to a base where we can all get along on (I'm probably biased on Aurors anyways).

I appreciate a lot of the thought you put behind these ideas Skystone but unfortantly some of them are just not things we should do (IE: Giving them a one-time use of Imperio or Avada). There are to many bugs that could occur while trying to impliment it in that players could take advantage of. One thing I did like however is the Jailed idea and I think we might be able to turn this into something else but we need to think more about it and refine the idea itself. Keep up the great thoughts and don't be afraid to post anything but also keep in mind that while the ideas might be great that doesn't mean they are practical or going to work well

Just a tad off-topic, Skystone you're always seen trying to get new ideas heard, and I want you to know that I alwas love reading them. So keep it up. :D Don't get discouraged when things are declined though. It's nice to see you trying to come up with new things.

When you try and come up with new ideas, keep in mind about how it would effect overall game play. Like Linshon stated, giving players even a one-time use of a spell like Imperio or Avada is pretty insane. Yeah, it might be neat but it isn't really balanced.

Remember, the more that rare spells/items are given out(even one time use) they start to lose their value.

So, one thing I thought of related to the Aurors being able to Jail DE is giving the Aurors a non-damaging projectile bases "stun" spell, if they manage to tag the DE with enough stun spell hits before they reduce the DE HP to 0, the DE gets jailed. I think this would be a really awesome skill based addition.

One way I envisioned this is that there is a set number, maybe based off the DE level, that you have to tag them before they pass the threshold and are eligible for jail time on death.
Another is based off stats and such, maybe some combination of damage and defence, where if you deal enough "sub-dual" stun "damage" to cancel their entire HP, they get jailed.
