cant update byond ?

ok i am playing games on byond and then i found a note says
"byond cant open this hub plz download byond V.500"
i didnt understand why there is 500 V'S
anyway i go update it then nothing happens 
great it didnt do anything on TWC or others games i realy like it

so can some one tell me waht is going on ?
