TWC Idol + Prom 2013!!!!!

TWC and Prom was another MASSIVE success this year with a total of 13 entries (a TWC idol record) + a peak of 53 LISTENERS on the radio, yet another TWC idol and TWC Radio record!

Severus won Idol this year with his epic original TWC Anthem rap song. Congrats and thank you to everyone who participated!

What is TWC Prom?

TWC Prom is a big dance we do on the game where users create their own custom robes, then head to the great hall for a massive dance party. It will be a night of music, laughter and prizes. Feel free to bring a date.

To test your custom robe in-game, head to the top floor on the school and go all the way to the left and down into the mirror room.

What is TWC Idol?

TWC Idol is a singing contest where TWC users record themselves singing, then send in their clips. We then take all the clips and host a TWC Idol show on the radio, letting everyone hear the submissions and vote on the winners. By the end of the night someone will be crowned TWC Idol 2013 Champion!

At the moment we need ENTRIES! It's up to the awesome players like yourself to make this work. So record a song and send it in!

Contest Rules:

-No videos. Please send your recording in ogg, mp3, or wav format.
-Background music is allowed, but please make your voice loud enough so we can hear it.
-No ripping songs! Don't send in a song you didn't sing yourself. We've had people rip songs off YouTube and send it in before. It really just ruins the point of the event.
-Lucifer reserves the right to deny any entry for any reason.

The rules are subject to change.

Prizes:

1st place - One year of BYOND membership. (And likely another in-game prize decided by admins, can't guarantee anything)
Random entry prize - Six months of BYOND membership to one random person who enters.
Other prizes - $10.00 Amazon Gift card as a prize and a 500k gold prize to random people who enter. (courtesy of Seta)

I've decided we won't be having the 3 judges this year. Instead the host will articulate players reactions at random after a song.

This way everyone can be a judge and the event will be more about everyone instead of the contestants and judges. Plus this way we won't have to hurt anyone's feelings who's denied as a judge.
